It was dark, the origin of the first light was love. That spark in the darkness from which you can never return. Once alive, it became almost untamable. Learning as we go, we try to understand, we try to put meaning to the symbolism that seems to run hand in hand with the energy of light and love, gathering speed, making an almost untouchable heat.
Symbolism, by its very nature, looses its meaning when translated, symbols are just that and should remain so.
Darkness, by definition is absence of light. My family name is Duffy, from the irish dubh or dark one.
